Switch: The Village (2019)
We invite you on a performance that ventures through Toronto's Gay Village, accompanied by portable projections, song and soundscape, poetry, shadow puppetry, dance, and movement-based storytelling. Using a transformative justice framework, Switch: The Village explores our relationships to Toronto’s Gay Village, queer history, invisibilization, and ideal futures.
Switching Queen(s) (2021)
Switching Queen(s) is a roving inter-disciplinary street performance through public spaces and liminal landscapes within Parkdale. We will lead the audience on a journey using theatre, dance, poetry, song & sound art, shadow puppetry, video projections, procession, and ritual. Conceptually, this piece will explore visible and invisible lines that we navigate and cross in Queen West: waterways & oil pipelines underground; disappeared marginal spaces; beats & back alleys. Switching Queen(s) will trace the grids of new & old streets, changing neighborhood boundaries, race & gender peripheries, police lines, railway tracks, time, and much more.

Production Manager: Hazel Moore
